It's a good article, and I would really like to think that all of this means nothing and is simply the attempt of an exhausted, nutrient deprived mind. There is evidence to support this, namely, if I take Ambien I do not dream. I do not know if that is because of the narcotic effect or if I simply fall into a deeper state of sleep where dreaming doesn't occur. What I know for sure is that the amnesiac effect of Ambien is the most wonderful thing. Even if I have nightmares, I wouldn't remember them. I would consider that a win, at this point. I have small children and worry about taking something at night, though. What if I don't hear them? Or a fire starts? Also, there are issues with dependency, as well. I don't often hear of adults with recurrent nightmares and vivid dreams. I hate it.
