I'd like to add an insight from Vajrayana Buddhism.
It is said that each of the negative emotions has a pure form in the enlightened mind, which the ego then corrupts into a false form.
In the case of anger, the energy of origin is actually a crystal clear focus on the present moment, like a summoning of complete stillness needed for important action.
Of course, as the ego attaches to rejecting a certain aspect of the environment, this crystal clear focus is corrupted into a rage at that situation.
As a darkworker, didn't have much useful to add, but I thought that might help.
The pinnacle of the lightworker path, in my observation, is the light warrior. Difficult to reach -- Martin Luther King, Ghandi, mythically Robin Hood, etc -- but very powerful indeed.
