...well, it's not a music player.. Imagine the situation you browse your music collection (in total commander, windows explorer or whatever

and you are just looking for a random song to play... You can have all your music files loaded in one big playlist eg. in winamp and turn on playlist shuffling, or you can use JPS and just press a hotkey whenever you want to listen to one random song or another hotkey when you want to repeat a currently played song... but JPS doesn't actually play the song, it runs it in your music player (winamp etc.).
I know you can set up some hotkeys in music players, but I just didn't find it so comfortable.
