In answer to the original question, I'm going to throw this out for what it's worth:
The bible says God created the world and everything in it.
Christians believe that God is omniscient - all knowing, omnipotent - all powerful and omnipresent - everywhere at every time.
Given that, there should be no doubt that God is ultimately qualified to judge each one of us based on our own merits given our unique situation in this world.
Also, we are told that God is a merciful God and, according to the doctrine of Justification, offers the full extent of that mercy, aka salvation, to those who do nothing else but believe in what he sent his son here to do. I submit that any God capable of wiping our slate clean in such a way is capable of offering that same mercy to anyone who ever lived if they truly deserve it regardless of how Original Sin may have flawed us.
