I don't know if you updated your "About" section since this discussion took place, or if I just missed it before, but I just went and read it and I think what you have in there looks good. I think you give a basis for why you know what you are talking about.
I think you are off to a good start. I am interested to see how it goes! It sounds like you just need to stick with it... that seems to be your struggle is not getting distracted from a project.
