Wink IF only.... (time management)

I was having a chat with a friend yesterday and we were having a conversation about achieving goals in life. One thing stood out for me which I've seen in so many people; everyone goes to work, go home, repeat for 5 days, have fun on the weekends, then repeat the whole cycle again. Sounds like a simple story but there is something more beyond this lifestyle with an empowering awareness.

You see, work requires time management. It doesnt matter in what industry you work in and it doesnt matter what job you do. We all need to finish a certain task at a given amount of time. Vice versa we need to allocate our time to achieve and meet our goals at work. So basically, everyone who has a job is utilizing time management skills, thus everyone is able to utilize time management.

What struck me the most is that most of us makes good use of time management at work but we dont make good use of it in our own personal time to achieve our personal goals. After work when we get home, we fall into the cruising mode or relaxing mode (switched off). Rather it is the best time to work on ourselves during these times.

Do you like the idea that you are achieving goals for someone else (the company) and not achieving your own personal goals? Do you like the idea that at the end of the day the company accomplished something and you afterwork accomplished nothing?

Every successful people I've known and studied made good use of their time after work. Everyone had their day job and then they pursuid their passion after that. Eintstein worked in a postal/telegrahp office.... Faraday's day job was a blacksmith... the Wright brothers worked in a bicycle shop.

You've had it all along in you... If only you would apply it to your own personal life, then you will start living,... then you will turn your dreams into reality.
