It doesn't have to be just 1 book. One could write a book or two every year.

Marketing a book takes time, but so does marketing a blog. After a while though most authors don't have to market that much. ie. Deepak Chopra just writes a book and it gets published and sold to bookstores. That's ONCE the author is established, of course.
