Steve believes that if we start with our passion (heart) all the others will fall in place eventually. What I take issue with is the placement of spirit (contribution) as the second most important.

In my opinion the order should go: 1. Heart 2. Mind 3. Spirit 4. Abundance or body.

Because if you're passionate about something you will get good at and then you will make a meaningful contribution. I don't think you can make a real contribution without being good at what you do.

So, yeah. My tiny disagreement. Anyway, the best podcast Steve has done so far.
It may interest you to know that I almost ordered them the way you did. The reason I didn't is that I felt that intending a positive contribution and getting clear about one's purpose are more important that talent or skill.

When we're just starting out on a career path or going to school, we have the ability to form positive intentions to help people, but we may be weak in the skills area.

This is also based on my personal experience. I developed pretty good math, science, and programming skills at a young age. But that didn't automatically motivate me to contribute much. Only later when I got the spirit part working did I really start pushing myself in the skills area -- far more than I ever did before.
