Meditation
Hey backpocket--
First off, congrats! Meditation is a truly wonderful practice so integrate into your life. Here are a few tips from personal experience:
1) Meditate first thing in the morning, and sometime before you go to bed (in the morning your mind is quieter and at night its great to let the day go)
2) Make sure its QUIET, and you won't be disturbed
3) Try one sitting meditation (preferably morning) and one lying down posture (at night) each day.
4) Your mind WILL wander. Do not get frustrated, but keep patiently draw your attention back to your breath.
5) Buy a guidance CD; there's a great one from John Kabat-Zinn and an awesome book from the same guy called Whereever You Go There You Are.
