A problem is that people (most of) don't relate with celebrities as "people" but like... "fiction characters"... I've been near lots of celebrities by chance, but I've never thought or bother them. And that's why some go with disguise out of his houses....
I guess the only way is trying... I would say and I'm very confident guy but that scares me a lot, I know a lot of painful stories. I've always read about it... and some "succesful" musicians lifes have been miserable... Some say it depends if you're extroverted or introverted (is that simple?). So you'll handle well with amounts of people or not.
