Personally, I'm not so big on the whole "celebrity status" thing, and I don't understand why so many people are obsessed with celebrities. They put their pants on one leg at a time, just like everyone else.
Now, that being said, I recognize and respect their talent, but I wouldn't take celebrity status if you...uh...paid me! I value freedom above all else, and if I couldn't even walk out my front door without putting on a disguise, that is not freedom as far as I'm concerned.
