I think the second part of your statement sort of negates the first. We are organisms, not mechanisms. Otherwise I agree.

Nonsense. Death of the material body is inevitable. To NOT accept this is delusion and denial. You are not this "life." Your views about yoga are wrong. Sat-chit-ananda does not mean physical immortality.
