My partner accuses me of chatting with people and not like this, but like in a more personal matter, 80% of the time i'm on my PC. The only reason i am on this site right now, is because my partner is at work. I have really grown to resent my partner a great deal over such behavior.
Lying is a form of control, and if the person the OP is referring to is a boyfriend or girlfriend, then it is bad news, and a sign of things to come.
