 Is humility good?
I enjoyed this interview and I'm sure Mr. Assaraf is a brilliant man who has helped many people. It seems that every time you read an interview with the folks from The Secret, you eventually get to hear how much money they've made. I absolutely believe there's plenty of $ to go round for everybody. I'm glad that these folks exist as evidence to the rest of us that you bring to yourself that which you think about. But they're beginning to lose credibility in my eyes when they tell us about their magnificent homes, etc. I bet there are more people like me out there who are trying to deliberately manifest something using their best understanding of the methods and energies, but have not really succeeded (at least not yet), than there are people who have created such wonderful results. I don't think I'll believe in it more once it happens to me but I do think I'll get better at it with experience. Until then, the sincerity in their intention to teach me how to do as well as they have is becoming reminiscent of television preachers displaying their cars and bejeweled wives. Is humility good? or does it create a negative polarity by admitting the possibility of scarcity?  |
