I did get some viewers from that stumble, Adrienne, so thank you... at least I know my site hasn't been banned or something.

I know SU keeps track of how many pages you stumble from a domain, and stops using your stumbles to send traffic if you stumble too many. I think they still show up on your "likes" page, but I'm not actually certain... I haven't checked.

I wonder if that will eventually end up rendering this group unable to help each other, as we've given a thumbs up to each other's sites too much? I don't just automatically give a thumbs up, I only do it for articles I find interesting, but I still have a few favorite sites that get them from me fairly often, so eventually they may stop working... either that, or it may actually be that they stop allowing it if a certain percentage of your last # clicks are for that domain, rather than a fixed number forever.

I don't know... I just know I get a LOT of my traffic from stumbleupon, and most of my pages are "discovered" by someone from this forum. I'm just now really starting to get some momentum with my site growing, so it would be a dirty rotten shame if it stopped.

By the way, do any of you use reddit? And if you have experience with receiving more than a trickle of traffic from it, is there anything in particular that you did? I would really like to start using them, but I'm not really sure how to go about it.

Digg is fine, but Digg users aren't, as a general rule, really interested in self-development/relationships/other stuff I write... blah, I know this is really long, but I think I write good content, just don't really know, at this point, how to get it out to more people, especially if StumbleUpon dries up.
