We've been down this road again. To me it all boils down to whether or not this is essentially a single player game or a multi-player game.

I have no doubt that there are many parts to Consciousness. For example we could use the word "souls" as an example.

My question revolves around the fact of whether or not each soul gets his/her own "world" to play, or do all the souls participate in a single multi-player world.

For example. Imagine there are ten souls out there. From 1 to 10. All 10 of them are actually part of 1 consciousness. But they split into 10 at the level of Ego. So now, there are 10 Ego's out there. Each one on a "mission to learn something". Once the ego's become perfect again they rejoin the 1 collective.

But for the time being, the ego's who are still learning or experiencing or having fun or whatever, are playing a game called life.

Do they play TOGETHER in ONE game? Or do they EACH play a seperate game?

For example, lets say #1 plays the game, and for him to learn the best lessons he plays an action adventure game that takes place in the year 1347.

Lets say #3 decides to play year 2074 and he's playing a shootem up.

Lets say #9 decides to play year 300 and he is a teacher.

See, none of these souls interfere with each other. None of the "other" character in their games are real. Just they are real. The other souls are real but they are playing different games.

In a multiplayer game, all 10 souls have to play the same game, in the same year, and they can only do things as long as they don't interfere with the other souls. So if it was in the best interest of 1 soul's learning or mission in the game to experience year 1300 but the other 9 it was better to experience year 2020, the 1 soul would get "shafted" and "take one for the team" and do what's best for the group.

I don't see a lot of empowerment in that way of thinking. I see a lot more empowerment in thinking along the line of single player games.

NOW. I'll add one more thing. Lets say that Soul #4 in his game learns the lesson that "Love is beautiful.". Well, since soul #4 learns that and soul #4 is actually part of ALL the other souls, all of the rest of them, 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9 ALL experience the beneficial effects of "Love is beautiful" in their games as well.

It's so hard to explain this, argh.

If I think of it the other way, with a single consciousness and that consciousness being God, it just reduces to nothing to me. I essentially see that as "ALL doing ALL in ALL for the purpose of ALL learning ALL with ALL helping ALL to be ALL". It's just becomes a big "HUH?" and then it has no bearing on "real life" and I want to go upstairs and get myself a drink of water and watch TV because it means nothing. It's like saying "All the particles in the universe make up the universe." ...uhh...ok...so?
