I think that the power in this exercise, as Rose said, is that when you think about how nice it would be, this brings the emotion to the present moment and if you don't fall into the trap of thinking something like "Yeah, would be nice, but I don't have it yet" right after doing the exercise and instead simply release it, then by feeling in the present moment what it will feel like when your intention manifests you're activating the attraction. The wording might be in the future, but the feelings are very much in the present. Words don't matter so much if the feeling is right, the only reason why words are important is because they make us feel a certain way and this question, albeit using future tense, evokes good feelings in the present. Besides, asking yourself "Wouldn't it be nice?" makes you open yourself to the possibility, you're not trying to force yourself to believe in what's not there yet, but instead you're simply allowing the feeling of possibility. Simple, elegant, powerful. Genius!
