You know something, I reacted the exact same way when I was introduced to the law of attraction, and I was procastinating about it every day. Then when i was asked to try it out for the weight loss I gave up several times... and I was re-charged again and again by the same person. Finally, he said I got nothing to lose, as it is free, it doesn't cost me anything to try it out, as I will sending the message to the universe, and if I believed in it I can get my desires without any obligations.
So I tried it out, and as always, I didn't believe in it. I was brought back to the first step and again I started, this time I made sure that I believed in it as I asked the universe for a miracle for a child of mine who was sitting for an exam in two weeks, and I really asked, believed and I visualized that I received what I have asked for, even though it has not come to me yet at that moment. My child hates revising and studying for exams, and I asked the universe to make her do so, I believed she will start revising and I couldn't believe that she actually started revising the very next day itself! She has finished her exams and now is waiting for her results....
On the day the results came out, she couldn't believe that she had passed all the tests and even her teachers couldn't believe it either! Take it as coincidence or whatever, I know my child, and seeing her results I started to practice law of attraction that very next day. I have taught my kids to practice it for their studies, so they know that visualizing their wants will get them whatever they desire.
Everyone has their own perceptions, no one can force anyone about it, and as I said it is your own choice. It worked for me and as I believe in sharing, I shared my story with you on this forum....as the saying goes the more you give, the more you receive.
The decision is solely yours, not all of us are born reach so it doesn't hurt to try this simple way of achieving our desires....
