If it's appreciated, here a little example
A friend of mine wanted to program a game for several months, but he was stuck. He had a lot of ideas, but didn't really know why and how and where to begin... so motivation felt. We talked about it for one hour. After this hour he knew why he wanted to make it, he knew what his message is, he knew what he wanted and he even had the whole concept of the game. For me, it wasn't work. It was a funny conversation. I just felt his game, I saw it already, I knew exactly what he had inside of him, and I told him that. I told him what he already knew without seeing it... for me it was just having fun. But he told me I helped him a lot. If some day he makes his game, I will have contributed without massive action! Maybe you think that's not a "great" contribution, but who knows, maybe his game will be great and make a big difference for a lot of people! Or maybe some day I'll be the same kind of creative accoucheuse for someone who will do something that is really big in your eyes
It depends on how you define massive action. Think about healers who put their hands on someone, concentrate on energy and the patient's life changes entirely. This is a great contribution. Is it massive action?
I think from outside it LOOKS LIKE massive action. But if you are guided by your passion and doing what you really are talented for, from inside it doesn't FEEL like massive action, because you just let yourself go with the flow, so you don't feel you're doing a lot. It doesn't even feel like work. It gives you energy instead of costing some. So my opinion is: massive action is not required! (even though others may have the impression that you're working like crazy)
my 2 cts. don't know if this answers your question...
