i think there's some in China (such as baidu), but i haven't heard from anyone that receive any payments from them..
the ecpm of chinese adsense is really low, i checked from
adwords keywords tool, chinese ads are mostly range around USD 0.05 while english keywords can easily at the price of USD1. Besides, there're two type of chinese encoding, Big5 (traditional chinese) and GB (simplified chinese). Big5 are used in places like Taiwan and HongKong while GB is used in China.. however, there's no Big5 advertisement from adsense...
