Hey all-
So tonight I did the process for finding one's life purpose and began to cry pretty heavily on the first try:
"Freeing children from sexual slavery."
which I changed to:
"Freeing people from sexual slavery."
For a couple of years I have had this idea of litterally going out and actually rescueing people or children who are being held captive and forced into sexual slaverly.
Just today as i was brainstorming for writing ideas, I came up with a short story about a guy who finds out he has one year to live. He moves to Cambodia, gets somewhat fluent in khmeer, and makes it his goal to resuce one child before he dies... and ends up rescueing a bunch and dies, crying with joy, thinking of their faces).
So... it's an emotional issue for me and one I have seriously considered as a life path.... so how do I know if it's the one? Do I keep on with the process and see if there are other ones out there which get me to cry more?
love,
Seth
