Well, I know that If now I start to try to write some songs I will enjoy it.
But I won't make great songs.
I have many other things in my head that disturb me. It's not the right moment. (After 20 years of composing I realize of these things).
Maybe it was happens to you, you know you will enjoy it, but you know you're not give your best or so, so you wait for the best moment and instead do other things.

Another situation would be the fear itself of playing, the fear of showing your emotions, and that's a very different thing, a huge thing. What musicians have to overcome if they want to show their music "The Wall" for Pink Floyd.
It leaves you naked in front of everybody.
Maybe if you read my posts (all over the forum) you notice I talk easily about deep inside things of mine... without a problem. That's because I went outside the Wall some time ago. Now I can talk easily about any feeling I have because I'm used to my music exposure.

But the thing of breaking the Wall is... well... oh, my... I'll never go back into the wall. But breaking it is like being born again or so, it's the hardest thing I've lived.
