Oberlee, I had a similar experience with my grandmother while she was alive but on her way out. I kept having dreams that my deceased grandfather (same one I wrote about in this blog entry) and I were going to her at night to let her know that it was time to leave her body, not to be afraid, and that it was okay to leave. She kept resisting this advice in the dream. I had this same type of dream 3 times. Finally one night I dreamed that my grandmother finally got over her fear of leaving her body and told me she was going to die. I told everyone in my family the next morning that I dreamed grandma was going to die and everyone assured me she was in good health mentally and physically, but 3 days later she died very suddenly. I actually had the audacity to be shocked. But what was happening there is that me and grandpa were communicating with her soul at night, while she was alive. So I wouldn't be surprised if your grandfather passed relatively soon once he goes to the home. People often cling to their earthly bodies while their souls are actually preparing to leave. You can pick up on that in dreams.

Kaja: Feels like it was a dream sent to you from your higher self to help you get over the feelings you were having. It's possible his higher self was involved. I couldn't say for sure.

Bitsy: Two people could have a spontaneous visitation like you describe, but it is highly unusual and just not that common.
