I have to disagree here. Just because other people have lied, doesn't make it alright for you to lie!
If you have any respect for the person you're breaking up with, you'll tell the truth. Grant your soon-to-be ex the information she needs to not fall into your particular kind of trap next time around. So, if you're breaking up because you're not physically attracted to her, just say so - don't say it was about the dishes or something stupid like that. Then at least she'll know to look for someone who is more physically attracted to her next time around, instead of working on her lack of dish washing discipline...
