Yes, I agree, it isn't to everyone's taste. Very new-agey. It is like going into a new age shop. But you can visit and lurk in the subforums that interest you. I don't read every forum here, as I have no interest in technical stuff and some other things.
I have a couple of friends over there that hate the crystal/faerie thing and only go to the mediumship and spiritual development forums. You just take what you need.
