-I'm thinking that it's better for me to be honest about what I eat then lie. Plus, now I'm somewhat held accountable, so hopefully, that will be a strong motivator.
Just post whenever you feel like it. Like when you feel changes, or change something in your diet. You could also do a weekly update, or once every 3 days.
Someone people will indeed ask those questions when you haven't posted for 1 or 2 days, but just ignore them
Some people just like very strict schedules and journals (or statistics posts), and other prefer a much more loose approach.
