It's simple, really. Don't brag. Not about what you've achieved nor what you intend (!) to do.
When you let flow in that you came from having to 'work' on yourself to get your "cake", people are not as likely to become envious... If you just 'waffle' about how things just "came to you", it can be a turn-off. Also, in most of these cases then, it's your ego showing off rather than your true inner Self that has connected with something bigger than yourself - if you like, you're just the physical channel through which your manifestation came about on the physical plane.
The other thing is - don't ever (!) talk about your future intentions. (If somebody asks you - just be vague...don't go into details - especially if it's something that is very important to you, it's even more crucial to keep mum). Talking about even your past 'achievements' in the 'wrong' fashion can become a stumbling block because it can turn into a 'competition' with yourself of having to do even "better" with your next intention - and you're creating negative pressure that can undo your attempts because you expect too much of yourself.
It's better to keep a 'low' profile (or tune it down accordingly) for the simple reason that one needs to build up momentum and it is 'disturbed' if you "expose" your intention - not just by you weakening it by talking about it (even when you're not doing it 'physically'), but also, again, because people will make you doubt your own goals and tell you (again, envy or pure ridicule, or for the heck of it to rile you up) that you're off your trolley, you're completely unrealistic - whatever - take your pick.
Where there is no 'magic' (i.e., mystery), energy cannot positively be infused with your mental and emotional imprint and has no real chance to gain the energy to 'break' through the 3rd dimensional, heavy (like molasses) physical block to 'birth' it on the physical into your reality. Or, it may take three times longer or not be as you imagine or would like it to be.
There is power in silence.
