That's an outstanding observation. And please, whatever you obeserve, don't judge it. Just try to learn from it and your statement in bold above reflects learning.

I'm wondering if the "high" created a spiritual awakening of some sort. You may be right that it reprogrammed your subconscious mind or rather purged it of repressed energy and emotions.

Please read this guy's story to see if it rings a little true for you. His story is about a bipolar psychosis but it may have some parallels with your experience. I would highly recommend watching his youtube videos no matter what as 90% of the material is relevant to everyone and covers what you may have experienced.
