Me personally, I like to meditate right after breakfast and dinner. I just close my eyes and I observe my thoughts and my emotions. I try not to hold to any thought or feeling in particular, but I also make it a point to not try to block out or avoid any uncomfortable thoughts or feelings. I focus on letting them be and accepting their presence.
Most times, I also like to incorporate some deep breath holding. Usually towards the end of my meditation. I breath in, I hold for about 10-20 of my heart beats, then I release the breath slowly.
Do you stop observing your thoughts and emotions after meditation?
