There will always be
difference in society, and that may include significant income difference, but in a society that was truly a meritocracy/ equal-opportunity and a democracy there would not be class as it exists today, in the same way that in a our society, with some,
any, potential for advancement there is not class in the same way that it existed in feudal Europe.
