Using hate to solve problems I know this sounds like something straight out of the mouth of Darth Vader, but there is a LOT of evidence that you can use hate to destroy things that you don't want to exist. For example, there is a lot of evidence that aiming negative thoughts at plants causes them physiological stress and, over time, to even die.
I've used this myself a couple of times to kill things. One example that comes to mind is when I had a plantar wart on my foot. If you've ever had one of those things you know how hard they are to get rid of. I had the damn thing for well over a year, nothing was working and I was seriously considering going in to have it surgically removed. As a last-ditch effort, one day I stood there focusing on it, projecting hate and intending death on the bacteria that was causing it. Within a week it was gone.
So, my question is, when is it appropriate to use hate? Is it appropriate, or healthy, to use hate against people who do things that you consider morally reprehensible? For example, would it have been OK to use hate to project sickness and death on Hitler? What about politicians that cause death and genocide today? |
