I created (drew) the image of the “eye” around two decades ago as I was trying to come up with a visual metaphor to represent the “eye of the mind.”
To me it represents the central and eternal feature of our consciousness or the
“I AM” aspect of our being.
Of course I am not meaning to imply that we are going to look like “big eyes” to each other, for I honestly don't know.
It is just meant to suggest that whatever our ultimate and eternal form truly is, it will be the
same form as the Creator of this universe.
As I have stated before, not knowing what we will look like to each other is a dilemma we have all confronted once before.
As we floated within the amniotic water of our mother’s womb, there was absolutely no way we could see or understand what our mother or siblings looked like on the other side of that placental barrier that encased us.
Only after we were born out of her were we able to see her as she really is.
The same thing applies to our present situation relative to God (our ultimate “mom”

).

I am not certain what your experience could have been.
If it looked "exactly" like the eye in the illustrations (and there is absolutely no possibility of you seeing it somewhere prior to that), then perhaps it was a “premonition” to your impending encounter with it.
