I'm about the same in that regard. If I don't agree with the topic of a discussion I usually just don't take part in it. I can't remember the last time I got in an argument with family or anyone else. I simply don't care about proving myself right. If someone is particularly emphatic they end up just being yet another source of humor for me
I tend to gravitate to areas where none of this is apt to be an issue anyhow, and I have no problem with spending less time around family members who seek to be combative.
