Over the years, I've come to realize that much I've been taught about religion does not help me live the life I want. I realized that in order to see changes in my life I had to consider BEING THE CHANGE I WANT TO SEE CREATED. This is exactly what Jesus revealed with His life and teaching. BE THE CHANGE. You are seeking the very "Truth that shall set you free."....and that is NOT limited to a self-approved credo of beliefs expoused in some religious tradition's scripture, filled with sanctioned interpretations about it.
guthrio, while you do have an interesting point, what you're saying sounds like you are imposing your spiritual views upon radscorpion8
I particularly like Baird T. Spalding, and am fascinating by the books, but I also think it's important to not come off as imposing your own spiritual views upon another, even if the teachings of the far east may be right.
Just a thought.
