First of all, the baby is not “unconscious.”
I believe that once the light of awareness has been ignited in its initial birth from its mother’s womb, its permanent
“I AMness” has been forever established.
If it dies immediately following its initial birth, then the baby’s consciousness will awaken into its ultimate form and into the welcoming presence of its true and eternal family.
From that moment on (unless we are presented with a new “terminal barrier”) this new consciousness will be
indestructible.
It will then receive all of the support and guidance it will ever need in a context where communication between us regarding every aspect of the "all-that-is" will be unfettered by the limitations we experience in our present form.
Which means that everything that this new being will need to know in order to
advance and elevate itself throughout eternity, will be ascertained within the dimension where the advancing will take place – within the pristine clarity of "true reality" where nothing will be hidden from us ever again.
As tragic as the death of a baby appears to be from our human perspective, I believe that it is just the opposite from the perspective of “true reality.”
That’s because this new living entity that has just been "birthed and delivered" into the next dimension, is a being of such unblemished “purity” that, in my mind, it represents the true definition of the word “angel,” and an unparalleled source of joy for God.
Think about it. If you were God, then that new consciousness would represent the highest level your creative powers could achieve – a literal "replication" of yourself.
(That, of course, applies to all humans
)
