I recommend that you specifically walk and not jog.
It would be difficult to jog for that long, plus jogging for 2 1/2 hours will suck the life out of you and you will not want to do that, especially going into a water fast.
Walking will not tire you in this way. And will instead create an opposite effect.
Walking will strengthen you as you proceed through the activity, rather than drain you of energy. Walking is a transitional exercise. It will burn up the carbos but since it will switch you over to burning fat, you will not feel drained because it does so without the microscopic torn muscle damage to your body, that jogging would cause.
This creates the balance that you are looking for. In otherwords, walking itself is very similar in balancing your body the way water fasting does, so the two go perfectly together hand in hand.
