But I guess I will need to change my eating habits if it is the only way I will feel better. Starting tomorrow I will do a water fast for three days. Wish me luck. |
If you are serious about starting a water fast tomorrow, I applaud you.
The best way to go about it that I have found, is to speed up the process of going into ketosis, down to only 24 hours instead of the normal 72 hours.
This will take out the hunger temptations that are associated with this period.
And will allow you to detox more quickly, as the burning of fat will begin right away.
The way you do this is by exercising for a minimum of 2 1/2 hours on the 1st day of the fast.
You just need to go for a walk that lasts this length of time.
It will be between 5 to 6 miles.
This will burn up all your carbohydrate reserves on the 1st day and switch you over to burning fat (ketosis) and begin your detoxification.
I have personally done this more than 12 different times and achieved the results that I am describing to you every time.
You can prove that this is true to yourself, by simply purchasing some keto stix at your local pharmacy store and testing yourself after you have completed the exercise. The latest that you will need to wait in order to be able to detect ketones will be the following morning after waking up. This will be within 24 hours of having started your water fast.
