Try not to over-complicate the process. Sounds like you are overthinking.
The ONLY thing that matters, when it comes to manifestation is the non-contradicted or pure lining up of
belief and
desire. You perceive this relationship between belief and desire as
emotion. When they sync up, you feel positive emotion, when they do not sync up you feel negative emotion. It is very simple.
Thought is
attention, belief is
attention, desire is
intention.
It is just a matter of focusing your attention, in such a way, that it supports the
belief in the
reality you are wanting to experience. That's it. All else is subject to how it makes you feel. There is no universal answer to your question because of this. You have to listen to your heart at all times to the know the appropriateness or inappropriateness of what you are focusing on, or how you are focusing on it, and its relationship to what you are doing.
Be as
general or as
specific as you want as long as it feels good to do so.
