It is absolutely normal. Imagine a cup of Coca Cola. You keep adding water and it seems that nothing changes in the beginning but something IS changing. It's just not noticeable at first. Keep pouring, having the knowledge that more and more clear water will dilute and get rid at some point of the Cola. No force necessary, just walking daily on a path. Guide yourself softly. Don't fight the negative. Keep pouring water.
Tip: whenever you feel stressed, resistant, stop whatever is perpetuating that. Resistance will do its thing but if you don't help it, it does not have enough power to push you back. Accept the negative thoughts, emotions, feelings, situations that appear for a while. Just accept them cuz they simply are, no point negating them and no point in fighting them. It's hard to really get this idea of not fighting with resistance but be wise and see it's tricks, become aware of what it does and you will naturally find ways to let it be without energizing it anymore.
