The problem is that you are cleaning with an outcome in mind. You don't clean so that the dog stops barking. You clean on how you created the problem. A possible solution might be that it just doesn't bother you anymore. Or the dog might stop barking, but that's not your decision.
Another thing you might do is to send love to the dog, and see what that does.
