I'm not too sure what the ultimate goal really was here as I personally don't see the necessity in what was created. In any case, it's too much power for any person. Can you imagine actually being in that position and taking a moment to realise that you do in fact have the power to wipe out the world...
I'm going to guess that this will just get swept under the rug, but this creation won't be destroyed.
