You must have read my mind or post early today! :-) Just a few hours ago, I asked the same question, ' how to find your purpose!' I am at the point where I am ready to do something I am passionate about, just not sure what that is yet. I am also the the type of person who tends to generalize and spread myself thin. (But I enjoy absorbing new things and then moving on.) You might be interested in the book, "Glimmer" by Warren Berger, as it speaks to this phenomena, and identifies it as a good thing. (We're just slow starters)
Remember, your 'purpose' is a moving target. Don't obsess over the perfect outlet, keeping experimenting and do what resonates with you most.
