I've had good luck so far by just getting into a relaxed state, visualizing what I want, and trying to "feel" (generate the emotion) of having what I want already and - most importantly - that it is for the highest good of all. While I haven't got past the alpha reflection stage yet, I've gotten better and better at bringing synchronicities into my reality.

I keep a journal of synchronicities and alpha reflections, and here's what I have over the past few months:

1. An interesting and gratifying synchronicity relates to my intention that the product I work on earns $100 million in revenue in 2008. I just learned that the sales force has been very busy selling this product and it is going to be rolled out to many large international customers. I also learned that this product's main competitor earns a similar level of revenue, which makes my intention more believable.

2. Today I was sitting outside my workplace and was thinking about the fact that there are certain laws that govern everything that happens in the universe and was thinking about how far I could get in life if I only knew what all of those laws were. I then started thinking about one of my original intentions from a month ago of owning a red Nissan 350Z. At that moment, a red 350Z drove by. I remember that when I kept the intention of owning a 350Z in my mind fairly regularly a couple of weeks ago, I would see one or two 350Z’s every day (one day I even saw three) and I live in a fairly small city and don’t usually spend a lot of time driving between home and work. Then, when I gave up that intention, I didn’t see any 350Z’s for a week, until today.

3. I learned that my roommate has been dating a very attractive woman (his first girlfriend). This matches my intention that I visualized only a week ago.

4. Yesterday I was thinking of possibly getting a life coach and also that I wanted to meet more girls. Today, a hot Russian girl I knew in high school contacted me on MySpace, and it turns out that she is now a life coach.

5. My mom found a blue feather after I told her about one of the exercises from the book The Secret. The exercise is to visualize a blue feather and then wait for it to be manifested in your daily life.

6. I had read Lil Chris’s post on the Steve Pavlina forums about his intention to see a Ferrari in Kansas City. He hadn’t seen one in five years living in KC, but saw one three days after visualizing one. After going through the visualization process again, he saw another Ferrari three days later. I was thinking about the same thing, when I read in the paper that a nearby Ferrari club was putting on a show in the city where I live.

7. My blog is the fastest growing blog on Wordpress.com

8. I love Asian women. A few months ago, I was writing an affirmation 15 times a day, which said:
“I, [my name], am in a romantic relationship with an attractive and kind Asian woman in her early 20’s.”
Every day, I also visualized a woman matching this description in my bed.
A week later, my roommates met some Japanese girls who had just started a study abroad program at my college. We played some video games together and the next day I found out that one of them was tired of her boyfriend and wanted to go on a date with me. Here’s the key moment: I started getting anxious, and because of that the date never happened. What I should have done is recognized the gift (her) from God (the universe) and accepted it with gratitude.

9. When I was in college, I was getting tired of my course of study (liberal arts & government). I read a book called The Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil, which talked about future advancements in technology, artificial intelligence, and human enhancement. This got me really excited. Then I remembered my high school years where I worked with computers nearly all the time. These memories made me want to get back into the technology field. I ordered a number of books on-line and was so excited to think I would be spending most of my time working with technology. The day my package of books arrived, a friend I hadn’t talked to in several years sent me a message and asked if I wanted a job working with the exact subject related to the books I ordered.

I was skeptical at first, but I discovered that even if you believe in an objective reality, the process of studying the LoA is a good way to overcome limiting beliefs.
