Before white people came to the American continent, American~Indians had a earth-spiritual-friendly existance. (Just for the record, it is the conclussion of my research that American Indians are refugees from Atlantis, and as such would definitely "change their ways" from those that contributed to the destruction...the time-line of 28,000 years* fits most agreed-upon guesses regarding Atlantis). I make that point because WOMEN did the gardening and farming way back then. It was the white man's insistance that MEN tend to the farming.
Uppity white folk have been dictating how everyone should behave ever since.
