I have this problem too. Unfortunately, a lot of my skills/interests revolve around the use of the computer. Not completely, but they do involve it.

Doing things that are more important are a lot easier. I might try a 30 day trial type thing, which will just force me to find better things to do than forums and games. During the school year I was on forums a lot less, and I wasn't even playing games.

What's weird is once I leave the house, and I use computers elsewhere, I have a completely different feeling towards them. I see them as they should be, merely as tools, I just need to use them for what I want and then that's it. Maybe the occaisional entertainment when I'm bored, but mostly work. That's why when I need to get work done, I go to another place's computer. Less distractions for some reason, I feel less attached to the computer. It's weird that at home I don't see the computer like it should be: merely a tool.
