Depends on what you're looking to get out of your edu for your budget
I'm a fan of Van Tharp's philosophy on position sizing and risk/reward ratios. Its been one of the most beneficial things to my trading style. His book How to Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom was part of my guideline to developing a trading plan as though it were my business.
However, for me, his live courses are out of my education budget for the portfolio I'm trading with.
I am very committed to investing in my education within my budget and his live courses is outside of my budget for now. I am interested in Psychology of Investing or Behavioral Finance as I've found most of my trading performance is based on my own emotions or the lack of discipline to adhere to my trading system.
I know Tharp offers lower cost home based courses, which will probably be my next step in my education budget in the next 6 months. I dont know your trading situation but I hope my persective sheds some light for you.
