Do you ever have anything other than attempts to convince or otherwise affect another person in your head? If that's all you have, then all you have is conflict, whether it be mild or fervent. If that's the case, then the problem isn't that you argue inside your head, it's that you don't do anything else. Your life is just one competition after another.
