Thanks, Gingko. Fasting is not for me, because if I deprive myself of something, it's all I can think about and I know I'll scarf out.
I like this plan especially because it is not about depriving myself, but rather, losing the desire.
It has only been 24 hours so I know that's not much of a test, but so far, I have zero desire for an alcoholic beverage. I'm excited about being free. I'm delightedly looking forward to living free from the limiting effects alcohol has had on me. And I'm nervous about screwing up, too.
