Actually it's much worse. Mouth smoking cigars/cigarettes can give you oral cavity cancer, which kinda develops much faster than lung cancer.
So yeah, I lean towards 'don't smoke!' as well. One of the most unintelligent things I ever did was to smoke, and believe me, I've done a LOT of unintelligent things
