* A weird thing happened in my life. My husband smashed up the car in a freak accident (nobody was hurt). It's an inconvenience, but I'm hoping that the car will be a write off and we'll just be able to go get another car. We have insurance that covers our full purchase price rather than depreciated value, and the car is older and not worth all that much, but truth is, I don't like the car all that much and I'd be really happy to get a new one (new to us, anyway
). I'm just watching this all unfold and wondering if this is a weird way of manifesting a different car... *

$7000 today. I'll go out and buy myself a car. Something small, second-hand, with good fuel economy. I want this to be just a little "me running errands" car, and also a second car for family use if our primary family car isn't running or we have other reasons not to take it.
